When the Nelsons first started it was a family group, with my wife Joy on vocals, my mom Reva on the piano and a little later my son Nate playing bass.Later came my nephew Derek Guthrie who joined offering great vocals. Then there was Derek, myself and Keith Moore who sang tenor. Then, just as many groups change membership Cathy Cain, Brook Tolor and Derek Guthrie joined the Nelsons with adding superb vocals and harmonies. Then another change came as Derek and and his daughter Brooke and Cathy Cain joined the new group called Heaven’s Harbor. These are extremely talented singers. We still sing at our church together when we are there and God is still blessing. We wish the very best for them.
